SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship recipients and their parent/guardian sign a Student Participation Agreement, which serves as a contract pledging that the student will stay in school, maintain good grades, remain drug, alcohol and crime free and will participate in Take Stock in Children activities, and meet with their assigned mentor weekly.

Parents / Guardian agrees to encourage their student to achieve their full potential and to support the guidelines of the Take Stock in Children program.

A mentor is an adult volunteer who is assigned to meet with students weekly either at school or through the Take Stock app to assist and encourage him/her to achieve their goal of attending college or vocational school.

Upon successful completion of the program, each senior
will receive a 2-year tuition scholarship purchased throu
gh the Florida Prepaid College Foundation’s Project STARS.
